Terms of booking

These terms apply to your use of this website and to every booking request you send to Yat S Yat. By sending a request, you accept them.

1. How booking works

• A request is not a confirmed booking. After you send it, we call you on the phone number you gave to confirm.
• Places are reserved only once we confirm. Pending requests do not hold places, so a slot may fill up before we reach you.
• We may decline a request, for example if the trip is full, if conditions are unsafe, or if your details are incorrect.
• Please give a phone number on which you can be reached, with the country code. If we cannot reach you after reasonable attempts, we may release your request.
• Online requests must be sent at least 12 hours before the start time. For a later start, please contact us directly.
• Availability shown on the site is indicative until we confirm.

2. Prices and payment

• Prices are in Moroccan dirhams (MAD) and are given per adult and per child. The child price applies up to the age shown on each trip page.
• The total shown when you book is an estimate based on the numbers you enter. We confirm the final amount when we call you.
• There is no online payment. You pay in person at the meeting point, by cash in Moroccan dirhams (MAD).
• What is included and not included is listed on each trip page.

3. Changes and cancellation by you

• You can cancel free of charge until 24 hours before the start time. Please call or message us as early as you can.
• To change the date, the time or the number of people, contact us. Changes depend on availability.
• If you do not arrive and have not warned us, we wait 15 minutes at the meeting point and then leave. We may decline later requests from the same phone number.
• If we have already paid third parties for you (for example transport or a meal) and you cancel late, we may ask you to cover those costs.

4. Cancellation or changes by us

We may change or cancel a trip because of weather, safety, too few participants or events beyond our control. We will tell you as soon as possible and offer another date where we can. As you have not paid in advance, there is nothing to refund. We are not responsible for your other costs (such as flights or hotels), except where the law says otherwise.

5. Your responsibilities

• Give accurate information, including the number of adults and children.
• Follow the guide's instructions, especially for safety.
• Tell us in advance about any medical condition, pregnancy or mobility issue that could affect the trip.
• Children must stay under the supervision of an adult in your group.
• Wear suitable clothing and footwear, and respect local customs and the other participants.
• We may refuse or stop someone's participation if they put safety at risk or are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Some trips, such as quad, camel or desert activities, carry inherent risks. We recommend that you have travel and accident insurance.

6. Our liability

We provide our trips with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our fault, for fraud, or for anything else that the law does not allow us to limit. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for events outside our control or for the loss of personal belongings.

7. Use of the website

• The information on this site is provided in good faith, and we work to keep it accurate and up to date.
• Do not send automated or false requests, or try to disrupt the site. We may block abusive use.
• The texts, photos and design of this site belong to us or are used with permission. Do not copy them without our written agreement.

8. Personal data

How we use your data is explained in our privacy policy.

9. Complaints

If something went wrong, write to [email protected]. We will answer as quickly as we can. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected by these terms.

10. Law and courts

These terms are governed by Moroccan law, and the courts of Marrakech have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have in your country of residence.

11. Languages and changes

These terms are provided in English and French. If the versions differ, the French version prevails. We may update these terms; the version in force when you send a request is the one that applies to it.
